movies what fun... at least the trailers are

I've watched a couple of trailers today, and the past couple of days that've got me excited about movies coming out in the next little while... Definitely check them out
first there's HOODWINKED the supposed true story behind Little Red RidingHood. It's a cartoon that's coming out on Dec. 23rd, and has the voice talent of Anne Hathaway, Glenn Close and Anthony Anderson... I'm really excited by this one, it looks funny, at least the trailer is pretty funny... looks like a safe bet for the holiday season.
Next is MRS. HENDERSON PRESENTS, starring Judi Dench and Bob Hoskins. Dench plays Mrs. Henderson, who newly widowed and quite wealthy doesn't know what to do now... She discovers a run down theater that she owns(?) and decides to open it up again. The Gimmick is it's nude. It takes place in War time England and Judi Dench looks as entertaining as always... This one also opens for the holiday season
The next one that I'm excited about is UNDERWORLD: EVOLUTION opening January 20th. This is a nice looking sequel with Kate Beckingsale back in the role that helped make her a star. I wonder if it will be as good as the first one.
There's also Queen Latifah's latest effort coming out in January, a remake called LAST HOLIDAY. It stars Latifah as a woman who gets diagnosed with a terminal illness, and then decides to enjoy what's left and takes a european holiday. It looks like a cute fun movie... nothing too hard or critical.
Next is the highly anticipated V FOR VENDETTA, which from the trailers is looking completely awesome. It's based on a comic book series and stars Natalie Portman. It's set in a fictional England, where the Government has the people running scared... There had apparently been a nerve agent distributed in the water that killed millions of people, and lead to the current state of affairs. Portman portrays Evie, whom Agent V saves and then recruits to the cause, I don't know to much, but I'm really really excited about this one. I'll find out in March
That's it for now, but definitely check out the trailers either at www.apple.com/trailers/ or at http://www.imdb.com/nowplaying/ Later Days Movie watchers!

title... what title? what is that?

So, I'm busy procrastinating again... Bad Erin, very bad. But i hadn't posted in awhile and i'm in a different place. As you know, I'm in windsor till the end of December, finishing up school... One of the best decisions i'd made over the past year. I feel like a grown up again, in charge of my own destiny again.

Also, I have a life, and it's a balanced one. I actually hang out, and talk to people who aren't co-workers or customers or my parents.... it's a feeling i'm not used too, but it won't take me that long.

I've always maintained (well almost always) that I became a different person when i moved back home, and now i found myself again... i'm growing again and it is good.

One thing I didn't miss was all the high schooly, gossipy stuff that happens when you get a group of people together. It's human nature, and it's happens, and i should accept it and generally i do. AHHH, but it's joined the 21st century.... blogs have come into it... they act as a vehicle for the gossip, and stuff.... it's a nice way of keeping up with what's going on, and he said she said thing... which i'm pretty much addicted too....but damn it you never find out the whole story.... Oh well... It's funny though how when something happens you don't end up being surprised that something happened.... especially if you know the people involved. You can almost perdict that something will happen, it's just a matter of when.... Then you sit back and think wow, the same type of thing happened before and hmmm.... wow, History does repeat itself, and if you don't learn and figure out what happened it will be repeated.... scary hunh?

Anyways, a few announcements... Joss Whedon is on Veronica Mars tonight... making his official acting debut. He had a part on Angel as Numfar, the "do the dance of joy" type guy... but that was with heavy make up and everything. I'm looking forward to it....

Also, got back into the Gilmore Girls... i stopped watching it last year, just kind of fell out of it... then i caught some of the newer episodes... and last night's sinched it for me. Jesse from season 2 was in town and he asked the questions everyone wanted to know like... Why did Rory quit Yale? Why is she going out with Logan? What's she up to? it seemed to be the slap that she needed and the last scene was great with Rory and Emily fighting at the Russian tea, and Emily seeming to believe that Rory was her mother, like it was another chance and they weren't going to let Rory screw the pooch like Lorelai did... ha ha can't wait till next one...
